COMMUNITY GROUPS ARE STARTING UP AGAIN DURING THE FIRST WEEK OF MAY, AND WE HAVE GROUPS FOR YOU TO JOIN!
Community Groups – Bringing Faith to Life, Together.
Our goal for community groups is that they would be a place where we grow as disciples in our faith in Jesus Christ and that our faith would come to life as we help shape one another to be more able to share our faith and make disciples in the world where we are.
Community groups meet once a week for 10-12 weeks at a time to discuss the week’s sermon, study the Bible, pray for one another, and support each other. But more than all of that, community groups are a group of disciples who are living and working together to be God’s missionaries in the world to which they have been called to bring faith to life. We are all in particular places in life – we have jobs, we have families, we have friends, and we have neighbors. We all have people in our lives who range from acquaintances to deep relationships. Towards all of these people and the worlds where we find ourselves, God has given us specific commandments to love them as ourselves, to be salt and light, and to make disciples.
Through community groups, our hope is that together you will be able to be the disciples that God has called you to be and that together you would be more able to follow these commandments.
Community group meetings are intended for us to have a set aside intentional time for us to be together. Life is so busy and it’s hard to be a disciple – especially if we try to do it all on our own. Discussion guides are provided weekly to help provoke discussion that hopefully leads to growth in faith.
There are groups meeting at different locations, so connect with one that is close to your home! If you want to get involved in such a group, fill out this form. Contact Matt Littlehale with any questions.
